This position reports functionally to the Oiltools Logistics Co-ordinator and Operations Supervisor


The Business Support person provides administrative services in line with all Archer process and procedures to the Oiltools divisions


Key Responsibilities

This role will be required to:-


The provision of Business Support Administration. As well as supporting the Logistics Coordinator the position will require an interface with core Business Support Teams – Human Resources, Learning and Development, Procurement, Contracts and Commercial, and Finance Team. This may include:

Human Resources, Logistics and Payroll

  • Communicate with HR department when required (performance issues / contractual queries)
  • Arrange refresher training and/or ECI's
  • Raise PO's to LTD co men
  • Correlate timesheets & expenses
  • Liaise with accounts payable
  • Arrange offshore mobilistation
  • Ensure all certification in place for mobilisation offshore
  • Book onshore travel & accommodation
  • Distribute check-ins for offshore visits
  • Arrange PPE
  • Assist with rental equipment through Procurement
  • Project Control
  • Liaise with Cost control
  • Assist with preparation of Quotations
  • Raise PR's
  • Check PO's
  • Liaise with vendors
  • Control incoming invoices
  • Assist Cost department with charge outs

General Administration

  • General administrative support.
  • Support for general projects and integration

Health, Safety, Environment, Corporate and Social Responsibility, Quality Management

  • Personal accountability for the delivery of Archer policies in the field of HSE and CSR, leading by example at all times. The safety and security of Archer staff, contractors, customers and members of the public is always the first priority. Conducting business in an ethical manner is a condition of employment for Archer staff.
  • To work within the core Archer Business Process and procedures and support systems – IFS and WATCH system


Key Outcomes

  • Accurate and current information for reporting purposes and  data management
  • Full administrative support for all allocated service users
  • Compliance with all Archer core process and procedures
  • Effective interfaces with core Business Support Teams
